Recently, Tech Planet (WeChat ID: tech618) exclusively learned from multiple sources that Baidu Vice President, General Manager of Mobile Ecosystem User Growth Department, and General Manager of Interactive Entertainment Platform Cao Xiaodong has officially taken over YY, "entered the YY all-staff group as the new boss, and set up a personal office in Guangzhou." YY senior executive Li Qiang (pseudonym) told Tech Planet that Cao Xiaodong represents Baidu's President's Office, and Zhang Ying, senior vice president of Joyy Group, continues to serve as YY business COO and reports to Cao Xiaodong. YY's core management team remains unchanged, and the model of Baidu sending people to take over has been basically completed.
